Utopiography is the manifestation of utopia and the physical landscape.
This site explores the geographical environment and its relationship to human consciousness, particularly the author’s. If cartography maps out the physical landscape, then utopia, and the idea that society will always want something better, becomes the tool used to map out the social landscape. Both cartography and utopia are in a constant state of becoming and always subject to history, capitalism, and the dominant culture of our time.
